While we are still working with forensic accountants to determine the exact extent and duration of the breach, we know that the estimated loss, while significant, is thankfully not enough to endanger the organization or our ability to serve our guests.

To be honest, we had no idea what kind of response we’d get from that communication. But over the past few weeks, we’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the community, including many wonderful email messages:

“You have provided a wonderful safe space for so many families and I hope and pray that everything is okay now that you have discovered the problem.”

“It’s clear that the integrity of your organization and the holiness of your work will persevere.”

Knowing that you’re with us for the long haul is a source of strength and resolve for everyone at Mayyim Hayyim. Your continuing help means that we will face the future a stronger, smarter, and more secure organization.
