For Those from Other Than Jewish Faith Traditions

Over the years, people from traditions other than Judaism — and those without a faith tradition — have expressed interest in immersing at Mayyim Hayyim. Our mikva’ot are open for immersion to those who are Jewish and those converting to Judaism. We recognize that people from other faith traditions, including those who are in interfaith relationships, may still want to engage in a water ritual at a time of transition. We have created two handwashing ceremonies as a ritual to celebrate, heal, or mark life’s passages; they are available to anyone and everyone. We look forward to welcoming you; please click here to request your appointment and select ‘Hand Washing’ from the drop down list.

These ceremonies are also included in Mayyim Hayyim’s published Immersion Ceremonies.

  • Mayyim Hayyim currently has limited availability for immersions while we undergo construction to repair damage incurred to the building following the extreme cold on February 4.
