Sunday, Monday… Happy Days: A Trivia Contest For All

by Carrie Bornstein

Today is (and yesterday was, too) Rosh Chodesh Adar – the first days of the month of Adar.  Adar: the month on the Hebrew calendar that brings us Purim, which I take very, very seriously.  When Adar comes we are meant to increase our joy – a command for happiness!

In case two feet of snow doesn’t make you giddy, we’re offering a little boost, in the form of a trivia contest.  Submit your entry in these two weeks leading up to Purim, and you could win one of the fabulous prizes below.

Most (but not all!) answers can be found somewhere on our website or this blog. Submit your entry (make sure to also follow the specific directions for #10) via email to carrieb@mayyimhayyim.org with the subject line “Adar Trivia.” Each correct answer will earn you one point; the entry with the most points wins. Ties will be broken in a random drawing. Contest ends at 11:59pm, Thursday, February 21.  Good luck!

to this brilliant blog! I guess for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account.
I look forward to fresh updates and will talk

The cool thing about a plastic poker card it is necessary nice
feel and enjoy, is it cannot end up marked, crimped, or collapsed.
However, maybe that is why they are commentators and not players.
I have seen Aces cracked more times than I can remember
by another reckless player because the player with the Aces threw caution to the wind and raised all-in against 4
other players who have already called a big raise and are
    in the hand very heavily.

According to the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA), there have been 36 known CAPS activations
as of July 24, 2012. A standard first offense DUI offender should expect to pay between 3 and
5 times as much per month for their SR22 insurance
as they were paying on their regular auto insurance rates.

Even the companies in Los Angeles, who do insure high danger drivers,
use diverse formulas to calculate DUI insurance rates.

Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved
to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.

Aw, this was an incredibly nice post. Finding the time and actual
effort to generate a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and never seem to get
    anything done.
