Join local activists, philanthropists, artists, neighbors and friends at Mayyim Hayyim’s 2011 spring benefit event, Everything Begins in the Water! This year, we join together to honor the achievements of outstanding community leaders Drs. Ernest and Ellen Kornmehl and Carol and Dr. Steven Targum. We also present the Nachson Award to Aliza Kline, Mayyim Hayyim Executive Director, in honor of her ten years of service.

In our tradition of encouraging Jewish artistic exploration and creativity, Everything Begins in the Water will feature the winners of Mayyim Hayyim’s first-ever film contest. Selected by a panel of distinguished judges, including Kristen Lauerman of the Museum of Fine Arts, Ben Loeterman, Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, and Sara Rubin, the Boston Jewish Film Festival’s Artistic Director, the films are guaranteed to awe, challenge and inspire.

We warmly invite you to our Sunday Matinee – bring a friend, enjoy some chocolate, and show your support of our wonderful honorees and Mayyim Hayyim!
