COVID-19 Anniversary

Niddah Salon

"Hineini. Here I stand, hoping to move through this transition toward ease and balance. I acknowledge the challenges of the past. I acknowledge as well my own source of strength which has brought me to this moment."

As we approach the one-year anniversary of the disruption of our lives due to COVID-19, we are all tired. Many of us feel burned out by endless time on screens, for both work and socializing. We’ve gathered some ceremonies you may find helpful, and we invite you to use them to reflect on the last year, recharge, and prepare yourself for the coming months.

If you live near Mayyim Hayyim or another mikveh, we invite you to make an appointment to immerse. If you don’t live near a mikveh or prefer not to immerse, you can use the below handwashing ceremony.

  • Mayyim Hayyim currently has limited availability for immersions while we undergo construction to repair damage incurred to the building following the extreme cold on February 4. We will be updating this page periodically with new information. To support our repairs, click here to donate.
