Content

Water plays a central role in the ritual life of virtually all world religions. Immersion in a mikveh is one of Judaism’s oldest practices, and Mayyim Hayyim serves a first-hand example of its place in contemporary Jewish life. This program explores water as an agent of change from biblical, rabbinic and contemporary perspectives. If requested, participants create a mixed-media painting based on texts and discussion.
