  • 6:45 pm - 8: 45 pm
  • Mayyim Hayyim
    1838 Washington Street
    Newton, MA
  • $200

Your conversion class was just the beginning. These five sessions will deepen your understanding of Shabbat, tzedakah (righteous giving), keeping kosher, Jewish prayer, and more. Explore Jewish practices through experiential learning in an open and welcoming environment. Enjoy learning alongside those who have been on a similar path. Partners are encouraged to register. Though the class is geared toward those who have converted within the last five years, all are welcome.

Each session focuses on a core Jewish practice:
  • Day of Rest: The Sabbath
  • Righteous Giving: Tzedakah
  • Building Blocks of Prayer: Tefillah
  • Eat and Be Satisfied: Kashrut
  • Jewish Ritual Objects Inside and Outside the Home
