Over the last 40 years, the Jewish Discovery Institute has helped guide thousands of people on their Jewish journeys. Now that JDI is closing, we have begun offering our Introduction to Judaism course independently as Pathways to Judaism, with partnership support from Mayyim Hayyim Living Waters Community Mikveh and CJP.

If you are interested in this course, you can find out more about it by emailing us at pathways@mayyimhayyim.org.

Pathways to Judaism is an intentional and engaging 20-session course for people interested in a deep introduction to Judaism. The course opens the world of Jewish tradition and understanding to those with little background.

In addition to individuals, we joyously welcome couples with one partner who is Jewish and another who is learning about Judaism. Experience has shown that having both members of the couple learn together has great benefit and we would be glad to talk more with you about this.

Although our name is changing, we are committed to offering broad learning about Jewish rituals, history, culture, and thought to those new to Judaism. We look forward to taking this next step in our journey together with you.

If the cost of the course is a barrier to you, please be in touch with us at pathways@mayyimhayyim.org to discuss financial aid.

*There will be one week off in February corresponding to school vacation week. It is unknown which specific date that is yet.
