A Night at the Mikveh with Rosa Blumenfeld and Nadav David

Join other Sephardim, Mizrahim, and Jews of Color for an evening dedicated to continuing the learning from Knocking at Our Hearts, with dedicated time for mikveh immersion after.

This event is for Jews of Color, Sephardim, and Mizrahim to practice leading/singing the Sephardi/Mizrahi music that some will have learned at Knocking at Our Hearts, as well as your own musical traditions. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to immerse to mark the start of the new year, a tradition dating back to biblical times. Note: immersion is not required to participate, nor is participation in Knocking at Our Hearts. Carpools to Mayyim Hayyim will be arranged. Please be in touch with questions.
