"It is as if God is singing to us through Jodi Blankstein's voice. Her soothing, embracing, emotive melodies tenderly guide us. She brings warmth, hope, peace, and God to all of us." - Dr. Jay Schachne, Temple Habonim congregant
Cantorial soloist Jodi Blankstein received her certificate in Jewish liturgical music from Hebrew College in June of 2010. She has been serving as the part-time cantorial associate at Temple Habonim in Rhode Island since 2009. In addition to her temple-based cantorial work, Jodi is available to sing at all life cycle events, including mikveh immersions. Jodi’s rich and accessible sound will help to foster a spiritual and meaningful service before, during and after immersion. Depending upon the reason for immersion, Jodi will compliment the moment with songs of transition, healing, or celebration.
