Mayyim Hayyim provides tailored, collaborative consultation services to communities interested in building a new mikveh or enhancing an existing mikveh.

Consultation services are available in many areas - from fundraising strategies to the cultivation of volunteers to enhancing the experience of immersion.

Consultation topics include:
  • Generating awareness and financial support for a community mikveh
  • Design—creating a space that serves a community’s programmatic and spiritual needs
  • Rabbinic Oversight—models for maintaining a kosher mikveh and creating customized policies for local constituencies
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting/supervising volunteer Mikveh Guides (attendants)
  • Teaching about mikveh—curricula for adults and children
  • Enhancing the immersion experience with creative ceremonies for life cycle events, healing and transitions
Fees for these services are kept low thanks to grants from Natan and the Lippman Kanfer Family Foundation.
