Mayyim Hayyim,
the
Ziegler School of the American Jewish University, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion,
and the
Jewish Theological Seminary
held a
unique training on the principles governing mikveh design, construction, and maintenance.
Participants learned directly from
Rabbi Ben Zion Bergman, a pre-eminent rabbinic scholar with expertise in mikveh construction,
Rabbi Bradley Shavit Artson, Dean, Ziegler School of Rabbinics, at American Jewish University, and
Rabbi Scott Rosenberg, who served as Mayyim Hayyim's
Rav Hamachshir from 2004 - 2011, and now serves Congregation Beth Shalom, Ottawa.
