Mayyim Hayyim will host an international mikveh conference, bringing together clergy, educators, academics, seminary students, and lay leaders to explore and expand contemporary mikveh practice.

Creating or Enhancing a Community Mikveh and Education Center in Your Community
If your community is developing its own mikveh, you and other members of your community may wish to attend a small group consulting session facilitated by Aliza Kline, Mayyim Hayyim founding executive director and others. This session will focus on shaping a vision, finding a site, designing according to halachic and aesthetic standards, educating the broader Jewish community, involving the community in fundraising, engaging a wide spectrum of volunteers, and establishing welcoming policies and procedures.

The consultation will take place on Tuesday, October 12, 1:00 - 6:00pm, and will be held at Mayyim Hayyim, a short distance from the conference site.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing (by fax to 617-244-1830 Attention Amy Chartock) or by email (info@mayyimhayyim.org with "Conference Registration Cancellation" in the subject line) no later than September 21, 2010. No refunds will be issued after that date. All refunds will be processed by check to the holder of the credit card charged for the registration and will be issued after the conference.
