Mary
Kane
, MCAT, received a Masters in the Creative Arts and
Therapy from Hahnemann Medical College and Graduate School.
She is a Reiki Master and Ashtanga Yoga
Practitioner. She completed her first degree Reiki training in the Usui system
of natural healing, becoming a Reiki Master in 2000. Mary studied and trained
with Reiki Master Jacqueline McDonald R.M. CSI. Jacqueline trained directly
from the
Usui Shiki Ryoho
lineage of founder
Mikao Usui. Mary continues to study energy medicine (
Donna Eaden
) yoga and consciousness
work (David Hawkins). Today she combines her years of study, practice,
experience, and her natural gifts, as a Reiki Master in the Philadelphia area.
She brings her skills in dance, yoga, reiki, psychology, philosophy and
spirituality to compliment her colleagues’ skills on this transformative trip.

I. Spitzer

is an international award-winning singer/songwriter and recording artist, and
the guest cantor at Congregation Beth Israel in Media, PA. She composes for,
and performs with Theatre Ariel, Pennsylvania's professional Jewish theater
company, and the a cappella vocal groups MIRAJ and SheWho.
Juliet leads creative services
nationally with the musical troupes Shabbat Unplugged/ Havdallah Live and Tof
b’Yadah. She is on the faculty of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-Schools,
teaching on a variety of topics in Judaism, and is actively involved with the
International Center for Contemporary Education, promoting the peaceful
management of conflict through cultural understanding and tolerance for
religious, ethnic, and racial differences.
Missy
Stein
has been volunteering at Mayyim Hayyim for nearly a
year
developing this ground-breaking Women's Spiritual Journey to
Israel and serving as the
Israel Consultation Coordinator linking mikvaot
in Israel with Jewish organizations in the U.S. and aiding them in
self-promotion
. This will be the second Women’s Trip to Israel that
she has led and the fifth Israel tour in the past five years. She is also the
host of Philadelphia’s AM 1340 WHAT daily radio show,
What’s Up with Missy, the mother of five and wife or Har Zion
Temple’s Senior Rabbi Jay M. Stein. In addition, Missy serves on the Board of
the Mikveh at Temple Beth Hillel Beth El, is well known across the country for
her lectures on the topic of
Niddah,
the mitzvah of monthly immersion, and has published numerous articles
including, “Beneath the Surface: Spirituality and Mikvah.” Missy is a breast
cancer survivor and has created and coordinated empowering and educational
breast health symposiums and is an original member and supporter of Sharsheret,
linking pre-menopausal Jewish women around the world in their fight against
breast cancer.
