"I Love You Mommy"
Boston Jewish Film Festival
November 9, 2010
Mayyim Hayyim and the Filmmakers Collaborative are Community Parters at the Boston Jewish Film Festival's Boston Theatrical Premiere of "I Love You Mommy."
American families are now raising over 70,000 Chinese children. Eight-year old Faith Sadowsky, formerly Fang Sui Yong, is one. Director Stephanie Wang-Breal tells this story from Faith’s point of view and in real time. "I Love You Mommy" documents Faith’s struggle to adapt to her new life in America and her parents’ efforts to understand a child who experiences racism in a strange country. This is an important film about parenting, especially for anyone who has considered adoption.
In Person: Director Stephanie Wang-Breal.
