MotherWriting Workshop
With Rosie Rosenzweig, Resident Scholar, Brandeis Women's
Studies
Express your gripes, your
gratitude, and future dreams before a sympathetic audience. The
unfinished business of parental relationships, which occurs in the best
and worst of relationships, will be creatively addressed.
Participants will be led
through a series of exercises to bring out that
unfinished business and
encourage on-the-spot writing about their
experiences with motherhood
both as daughters and mothers.
Rosie Rosenzweig, author of A
Jewish Mother in Shangri-la (Shambhala Publications),
is a Resident Scholar in
Women's Studies at Brandeis University.
She is a current
contributor to a Brandeis University anthology about loss, and has
designed many thematic
writing workshops offered locally, and at national conferences.
These form the background
for this experiential presentation. |
