Mayyim Hayyim opened five years ago for you, and for the full diversity of the Jewish community. We are now asking our closest friends for help.
Given the economic realities facing all of us, we decided not to host a large benefit event this fall and focus instead on a grassroots campaign, Keep the Waters Flowing.
One hundred percent of donations to the campaign go to keeping Mayyim Hayyim's doors open for joyful celebrations, healing after tears, and thoughtful reflection about life transitions.
Everyone who participates in the campaign at a level of $250 is invited to will be invited to a Book Premiere - Thank You Party at the home of Ginny and Roy MacDowell on September 8, 2009, and also receive a first edition signed copy of Anita Diamant's new novel, Day After Night.
