Embracing Waters Bench Dedication

A Gift of the Harmon and Jaye Families

Please join us on Sunday, October 24, 2010
for the dedication of The Embracing Waters Sculptural Bench.

The bench is a quiet place for reflection and healing dedicated to victims and survivors of domestic violence. It is made possible through the generosity of Ellyn and Mark Harmon and Julie and Barry Jaye.

1-2PM

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We hope you and your loved ones will join us for an afternoon of learning, remembering, and commitment to ending domestic violence in the Jewish community and everywhere.

The Embracing Waters Sculptural Bench is a tribute to people affected by domestic violence, and was inspired by the Embracing Waters Initiative: Raising Awareness and Training Around Abuse in the Jewish Community. This initiative is supported by the Boston Jewish Community Women's Fund and included a collaboration with Journey to Safety, the Domestic Abuse Program of JF&CS.
